Wednesday June 10The Insulin Trail; 90 years later - Hart House, University of Toronto



This evening will begin with an informative walking tour on the University of Toronto campus, visiting some of the highlights of the history of insulin. Dinner will follow at the University of Toronto’s historic Hart House.   Following dinner enjoy a talk by Prof. Michael Bliss, author of “The Discovery of Insulin”.

Thursday June 11 – Hockey and fine cuisine; is it possible? - Hockey Hall of Fame

Canadians consider hockey their national sport. So visitors to Toronto cannot miss the Hockey Hall of Fame, Toronto's premier hockey attraction. You can go one-on-one against life-size, animated versions of today's greatest goalies and shooters; call the play-by-play of some of hockey's greatest goals; view hockey flicks; get up close and personal with the Stanley Cup; and explore the largest collection of hockey memorabilia in the world.

Then take a short walk to La Bettola Di Terroni Ristorante. Here you will enjoy traditional southern Italian fare and fine wines in a warm and casual setting.

Friday June 12 – Gala Dinner, “A night at the Royal Conservatory”


The unique and stylish Royal Conservatory of Music will provide an elegant background for the final conference dinner. The modern architecture and floor to ceiling windows offer treetop views of the University of Toronto campus. Enjoy entertainment by RCM musicians throughout the reception and dinner. The RCM is located directly across from the Intercontinental Toronto Yorkville Hotel.
